06/15/2010 iRev is now a guest in its new hosted high-availability and high-performance virtualized environment: we have a couple of Intel Xeon powered cores, much more RAM memory, and fast disk array to keep our websites quick and healthy. The server runs the latest operating software and service packages: FreeBSD 8, PHP 5.3, MySQL 5.5, Apache 2.2, and Bind 9. 03/16/2010 After a server failure that reduced iRev to operating on our backup "Celeron" hardware, we're back with our trusty old AthlonXP server hardware. We're running FreeBSD 8.0 and the latest versions of all our favorite software packages. iRev users are enjoying email with our co-location provider's incredible "Zimbra" mail system that offers webmail, POP3, IMAP, calendar, and virus/spam removal. 03/20/2009 iRev has been upgraded to the latest FreeBSD "7" 64-bit operating system, new quad-core CPU, and 4 gigabytes of RAM. These upgrades thanks to Gizmo and will keep continuing to power iRev for years to come! Otherwise, no other interesting news! iRev users and their websites continue to be popular, hightly visited, and reliably up and available. Thanks!

09/01/2008 Are you on iRev and using WordPress or another PHP package and things aren't working just right? This fix will make it all better! Create a file called ".htaccess" and put into it these two lines: php_flag eaccelerator.enable 0 php_flag eaccelerator.optimizer 0 Thats it! Save and upload to the main directory of your website!
